💼 Who we are looking for
We are seeking a Protocol Researcher who can engage in all aspects of protocol development, from ideation to implementation.
📍Location
This job requires being at the office every week, however we are flexible and you can work remotely from time to time. Our office is located in Paris, France 🥖
🛠 Mission & Responsibilities
Your main tasks will include:
Designing Protocols:
- Conducting comprehensive "literature" reviews.
- Researching design ideas on markets, liquidations, oracles, etc.
- Reviewing the team’s research efforts.
Implementing Protocols:
- Researching implementation ideas (algorithms, data structures…).
- Developing the code of the protocol, primarily in Solidity, with the ability to learn other languages as needed.
- Conducting thorough testing, and potentially formal verification.
🧙 Must-have Experience & Skills
- Research background, either in academia (PhD) or in a company setting.
- Strong computer science background with experience in designing and implementing complex systems.
- Proficient programmer with professional-level software development skills.
- Excellent abstraction capacity, able to quickly grasp complex mechanisms.
- Creativity in providing solutions and challenging designs.
- Strong theoretical understanding coupled with practical sensibility.
- Fluent in French and able to work in-person in Paris a few times a week.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Critical thinking and ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Autonomy in managing tasks and projects.
