Morpho is experiencing explosive growth, with over $3 billion in assets supplied on the protocol. In just 6 months, our new permissionless protocol, Morpho Blue, grew from 0 to $2 billion, solidifying itself as the new standard for DeFi lending. Now, Morpho is scaling its team of contributors to establish itself as a cornerstone - not just of DeFi, but of a new internet-native financial system.
💼 Who we are looking for
We are seeking a Community Lead who would be responsible for building a loyal community around Morpho by engaging and supporting them. This person will also take ownership of Morpho’s social media presence, creating compelling content that resonates with the target audiences.
📍 Location
Paris 🥖 or remote 🌍 (up to - 7h CET to ensure sufficient overlap with the rest of the team).
🛠 Mission & Responsibilities
Design and Manage Community and Social Campaigns
- Grow Morpho’s community through digital activations like quests, KOLs, contests, and more.
- Drive conversions by engaging the community using online channels and campaigns.
- Coordinate and execute co-marketing campaigns with partners and their communities.
- Monitor, analyze, and implement tactics/lessons from other high-functioning, effective communities.
Engage, Empower, and Support Morpho’s Community
- Implement regular, structured community updates on the latest developments in the Morpho Ecosystem.
- Like, respond to (non-technical questions), and surface posts related to Morpho across all social media touchpoints.
- Listen to and collect feedback from the community to inform the wider team and improve future marketing strategies.
Own Morpho’s Social Media Presence Across Multiple Channels
- Own the content calendar and create tailored content for platforms including X, Farcaster, LinkedIn, Mirror, and Discord.
- Craft compelling narratives that capture people’s attention.
- Leverage emerging trends and events to create entertaining content.
- Use analytics, feedback, and insights to improve content strategies.
Contribute to Morpho’s Overall Events Strategy
- Attend conferences and connect with the community to foster relationships and gather insights.
- Lead community-focused events to support strategic goals.
🧙 Must-have Experience & Skills
- 3+ years in community management or social media/content marketing.
- 1+ years in crypto, preferably in DeFi.
- Proven experience in building and empowering a community.
- Chronically onchain/online.
- Expert communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Understand user behaviors.
- Proficiency with various social media channels (X, Discord, TG, etc.)
- Knowledge of third-party crypto marketing platforms (Quests, Attribution, etc.)
- Can write clear, concise, and engaging content (extra points for humor and memes).
- Strong project management skills
- Fluent in English.
- Low ego.
- Self-starter.
- Can work and learn fast.
- Good with people.
- Creative.
- Can read the room well.
