We’re backed by top VCs in the industry, Archetype, Jump Crypto, Nascent, and Shima, and our team has worked at some of the best web2 and web3 companies in the world. We move fast, build in the open, and are eager to bring on new team members!
Role: Product Engineer
Type: Individual Contributor
Level: New Grad / Junior
Compensation: $100k-130k salary + 0.25%-0.75% equity, depending on experience
Location: IRL in Williamsburg
None of these are strict requirements—we believe great candidates can come from many different backgrounds.
Experience with modern UI frameworks. You’ve already built and shipped apps leveraging technologies like React, GraphQL, Node, and web packaging.
Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities. You care not only about how things look but why they’re being built in the first place.
Experience with statically typed languages, including TypeScript.
Bonus points if you have previous data layout design, early-stage startup, or finance experience!
As a product engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Engineer and ship core product features from design to implementation. (Example: You could add a new component to our UI library for selecting date-times to expire viewing access).
Improve reliability, efficiency, and performance of existing components. (Example: You may optimize the way file previews are rendered on the dashboard).
Build cross-platform web components leveraging React, GraphQL, and Node (Example: Designing models for documents to be decentralized among users with different permissions - view/comment/edit).
Since we’re a startup, in addition to the above, you’ll have the chance to be involved in other areas of the business like growth, recruiting, and fundraising.
The first step is a phone screen with a recruiter for us to learn some of the basics about your background.
The second step is meeting Adam, our CEO. He’ll ask in-depth questions about your work history, as well as give you an overview of our company and culture.
The third step is a technical take-home assignment where you’ll solve a problem similar to the ones we face every day.
After the take-home, you’ll meet us on-site to whiteboard a system design problem, discuss how you think about engineering management and processes, and enjoy a delicious lunch with the team!
Finally, we like to do a paid trial run, where you’ll be working with us over a weekend or part-time during the week. This lets both sides make a more informed decision about working together.
Afterwards, we’ll ask for references with past colleagues and compile a formal offer
