Job Summary

We are looking for talented Front End developer to join our engineering team. You will be working in one of our international Scrum teams in a fast-paced “startup like” environment, participating in development of Core services, working on new features and integrations, taking part in all Scrum team activities, you will be not only doing hands on development and also making technical decisions and designing technical solutions. We need someone who is smart and proactive in taking ownership and seeing problems through to resolution, responsible and self-managed, but at the same time a good team player.

Essential functions

  • Designing, building and maintaining Front-end services with React JS
  • Writing well-structured, maintainable, and efficient code. Ensure excellent quality of your code by writing unit tests and executing code reviews.
  • Researching and analyzing epic tasks and collaborating with the product team to develop technical solutions which fits into business requirements
  • Ensuring security and quality of backend services as we deal with our client's money.
  • Providing production support, troubleshooting and bug fixing.
  • Working in an Agile team using Scrum methodology, participating in all sprint activities, daily stand-ups, grooming sprint backlog, estimation of sprint tasks, creation of technical solutions, demo, retrospectives etc.
  • Collaborating efficiently within the development team, with QAs and product team to make technical decisions, suggest improvements and make selection of relevant tools and technologies.
  • Сreating and maintaining tech documentation.

Competencies

  • Excellent command of Javascript / Typescript
  • Knowledge of React and Redux
  • Ability to ship high quality, testable code
  • Experience working with REST API
  • In-depth knowledge of web standards
  • Good understanding of web security
  • Ability to estimate solutions based on business requirements

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a front-end developer with at least 2-3 recent years of experience with React JS
  • Good understanding of Web Security Vulnerabilities and best practices
  • Experience in providing production support, troubleshooting support cases and bug fixing
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle
  • Understanding of Scrum methodology and experience of working in the Scrum team in agile environment
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter with an ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Experience of working in fully-remote team is a plus
